Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker’s film is in news for over a month for the casting. The buzz had it that Aishwarya was approached to play the female lead, but the lady denied any such reports. Then, it was Asin who was zeroed in to star opposite Abhishek Bachchan but she conveniently opted out.
Now we hear that Sonam too had refused to be the female lead in Gowariker’s period film ‘Khelen Hum Jee Jaan Se’ that now has Abhishek and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Reportedly, Sonam was skeptical of pairing again with Abhishek as their last film, Delhi-6, was a dud.
